Building an ongoing relationship with today's homebuyers takes understanding. It requires an acute awareness of what homebuyers really want: an exceptional home and outstanding experience. Lazarus Shouse has nailed the concept. We've even gone as far as to develop a Customer Care Process to ensure lasting results. Specifically, we call it our 5-Step Construction Process…
1. Pre-Construction Meeting
The Pre-Construction Meeting is where you meet with the Construction Coordinator. Here you will review your contract, go over options, make your home color selections and go through the construction process.
2. Pre-Drywall Frame Walk
The Pre-Drywall Frame Walk permits the homeowner to review the home with Lazarus-Shouse before the drywall is put up and after the mechanical aspects are installed. Our staff confirms the location of internal features and verifies special options. This walk is not compulsory; it is an optional step for the homeowners. Efforts will be made to schedule this walk with the homeowner; however, if Lazarus-Shouse is unable to set up this walk, we will continue to follow our schedule to build the home as to not delay the delivery date.
3. Quality Assurance Inspection
A comprehensive quality inspection conducted by a Lazarus-Shouse Quality Assurance Representative.
4. Pre-Closing Orientation
During the Pre-Closing Orientation, the home is demonstrated to the homeowner by the Quality Assurance Representative. The homeowner will be educated on the operation of their new home. Your comprehensive warranty plan is also explained at this meeting.
5. One Year Courtesy Touch-Up
Within the first yar after moving into your new home, Lazarus SHouse will ask the drywall and painting contractor to return to your home to address nail pops and minor cracks that you may find in drywall after your home goes through the normal stabilization period. The painter will also address any joints in trim moldings and other caulked areas as well. We suggest that homeowners request this service 11 - 12 months after closing to allow the house to go through several season changes. We have found this process to be very convenient and a true benefit to our homeowners.
